Pilgrimages: Routes to the Sacred, Routes to Magic

Pilgrimages and journeys are not paid much attention to in magic these days. We can begin to see in the Lands around us this potential. While there are some justifiably famous routes like the Camino de Santiago, there are pilgrimages to be made all over, some very long and some microcosmic (like the Stations of the Cross for Catholics) and people would be well-served to look in the landscape around them, for potential pilgrimages, whether hundreds of miles long, or perhaps under a mile or a few blocks long, that connect significant sites and holy places, places of memory and life.
